A WHOLE series of solar storms have plagued the shortwave bands this week, and you’ll notice on our recordings that the lower-power stations with low or compromise antennas are hard or impossible to copy. You’ll also notice that those stations with full-size antennas at good height, especially if they run a kilowatt or so, are able to be clearly understood just about all the time — stations like W3JMD, W1WCR, N2IRJ, and several others. So learn the lesson that Old Sol is trying to teach you: Run power; get a full-size antenna up — and get it up as high as possible, from 35 up to 90 feet.

Here are a few of the issues mentioned on the net this week, along with my take on them:

• Is the prescription drug Marinol one of the main reasons that the big drug companies oppose the legalization of marijuana? What about the alochol industry’s opposition? (1 hour 20 minutes)

THIS WEEK I’ll be covering the Midweek Liberty Net session for my article, which happens every Wednesday evening with Marty, N2IRJ as the regular Net Control Station.

Here are a few items brought up on this session, along with my commentary:

• As a parting shot of hate and destruction toward the America he hates, Fetchit has declared that 110,000 “refugees” will be imported into this country this year, starting in October. Very few or none of them will be of our race. (14 minutes)

AS FALL APPROACHES, the static on 75 meters starts to go down and far-sighted hams start thinking about improving their antenna systems in the cool — but not yet cold — outdoor weather. Falling leaves often signify rising signals!

Thanks to Marty, N2IRJ, for filling in as Net Control Station when Vic, W1WCR was attending this year’s Oktoberfest.

Here’s a brief selection taken from among the topics brought up on the net, along with my take on them:

• These days, if you buy a John Deere, an RCA, or sometimes even a Cadillac, you’re just getting a cheaply-made Asian product with a venerable old American nameplate slapped on it just before the inflated price sticker (of about ten times the item’s true value) is attached. In so many ways, America is just a shell of its former self. Soon we won’t be able to pretend anymore. (11 minutes)

THE FCC is an instrumentality of the regime in Washington, with all of the callousness, hostility, incompetence, political motivations, and evil that that necessarily entails. They have a new tactic they are using on some licensees of whom they disapprove of or who are Politically Incorrect. They won’t begin proceedings against such a licensee — because they know they’d lose in any fair hearing.

So what the FCC does instead is simply to ignore the licensee and fail to perform their duties with respect to him: When he submits an address change, they won’t process it. When he passes the test for a higher grade of license, they won’t acknowledge it and will not put it in their database. When he renews his license, they will not process it and it will look like the license is expired in their database — even though it’s not expired at all. They act like the licensee doesn’t even exist and will not respond to his inquiries in any meaningful manner. I know this because it’s exactly what’s happening to me.

When the agency that’s supposed to facilitate orderly, lawful communications in this country acts in such a lawless, arbitrary, and immoral manner, what is an honorable man supposed to do? The very first and minimum response of an honorable man should be to regard the agency as the lawbreaker — and the licensee who has followed the spirit of the law as the innocent party — in any conflict between the two.

Here’s a small selection from among the thoughts brought out on this week’s Liberty Net, along with my remarks:

• The murder and violent assault rate in African-populated Chicago keeps accelerating: In one weekend alone, 50 Congoids were gunned down by fellow Blacks there. Such carnage in Chicago (and in many other large cities where Negroes dominate) barely makes the news. Yet the comparatively rare instance of a Black being killed by a White policeman becomes a national news event in the Jewish-controlled media for months on end — and an excuse for violent rioting, complete with Soros funding. SOME LISTENERS wonder why some Liberty Net stations use wider transmit and receive bandwidth than the “standard” amateur bandwidth of 3 or 2.7 kHz. The truth is that, when the band is clear enough to use 5 or even 7.5 kHz, you can actually get better intelligibility and clarity using a wider bandwidth that is closer to high fidelity than you can using narrow “communications quality” audio — and you have the added advantage that subtleties of inflection, emotion, personality, and meaning come through better too. One of the advantages of modern software defined radios (SDRs) is that they can easily be configured for any bandwidth you choose.

Here are my choices from among the ideas brought out on this week’s net, along with my comments:

• When using a high power amplifier, it’s good to wire the power supply to run on 240 volts instead of 120, as the latter requires twice as much current for a given amount of power, and that tends to stress certain components — which can lead to a higher incidence of failure. (7 minutes)

• Guccifer 2.0 has been having a field day, revealing the inside emails and other communications of Democratic Party honchos including Nancy Pelosi. One observer said that the newly-confirmed massive criminality of these politicians should, if prosecutors were honest, lead to so many prosecutions that the government would surely fall — which would be a most welcome development. SOME USERS of 3950.net wonder why they occasionally hear two-second gaps of silence while listening to our Liberty Net and Survival Net recordings. The answer is simple: There are sometimes periods of no activity between the end of the formal net and the beginning of informal post-net conversations. The same sometimes occurs after the pre-net conversations that we sometimes include if they are interesting. So that you, the listeners, don’t have to listen to many minutes of nothing but band noise and thunderstorm static, we edit our recordings to take out these empty spots. But to make it clear that something has been edited, we insert a two-second silent pause whenever this is done. And now you know!

Here are my selections from among the ideas brought out on this week’s net, along with my comments:

• A nutball Swedish evangelical Christian group has decided to use drones to drop “electronic Bibles” into ISIS-controlled areas — as if 1) recruiting primitive low-IQ low-self-control Brown people into your own religion is a good idea, and 2) as if primitive low-IQ low-self-control Brown people are the way they are because of religion and not genetics. Genes make culture, not the reverse. (39 minutes)

Liberty-Net---glass-transomby Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

IT’S LIGHTNING season. There are many methods of protecting your station from nearby strikes (nothing can protect it from a direct hit). One method used here at WB4AIO is this: I use open wire feedline. Where it enters my home, the two balanced-feedline wires pass through the wall by going through through two narrow plastic tubes just a little bit wider than the wires themselves.

Just about an inch or so outside the wall, each wire of the feedline is connected via a Powerpole quick-disconnect connector. When a storm is approaching, I just walk out to the back of the house, disconnect the feedline, and toss it ten or 15 feet away from the house. (This is also done when mowing the lawn, so the feedline is out of the way and out of danger.)

There’s no better way of keeping a lightning-induced spike on the antenna from entering my equipment than by having that antenna’s feedline a dozen feet from the house!

Another thing I do is keep a 2-Watt 22 Megohm high voltage resistor connected across the open wire feedline at all times. This absorbs practically no desired RF, but effectively prevents DC static charges from building up across the antenna’s feed system during precipitation or storms. Such DC buildup can sometimes cause loud popping sounds in your receiver called “precipitation static” — or even cause arcing when a passing storm front brings a large atmospheric voltage gradient along with it. With the resistor paralleling the feedline, any such charge is bled off before it can cause any problems.

Here are a few selections from the topics brought out on this week’s net, along with my comments:

MOST INFORMATION sources these days want to sell you something and are therefore beholden to the maker of, and market for, that thing. Or they’re selling advertising and are therefore beholden to whomever is really paying the bills. In contrast, the Liberty Net is totally non-commercial and dedicated to public service. It is not monolithic, and consists entirely of independent individuals sharing information freely, teaching — and learning from — other participants.

WITH TRUMP NOW pandering to racial and sexual minorities, it looks like his Jewish handlers have somehow found a way to handle him. Now, whoever wins the presidential election, we will continue to have more of the same oligarchic policies and control. Under such circumstances, free communication between patriots becomes even more important.

Listen: Liberty Net 7/16″]

Here’s a small selection of the topics debated on this week’s net, as interpreted by me:

• Far too many conservatives are believing the Jewish/neocon anti-Russian rhetoric that is all over the controlled media these days, especially on Fox News. In reality, a war with Russia — the only large White nation not under the complete control of Jews — would be a brothers’ war, and a disaster of cosmic proportions, perhaps destroying our race forever. The Jewish oligarchs hate Russia with a passion, because that nation has checkmated those oligarchs again and again in recent years — preventing a war with Iran, preventing the destruction of Syria, and containing the puppet regime the oligarchs set up in Ukraine. AMERICA — and the West in general — are at a point of crisis. Paid Soros operatives are bringing violence and forced political change — in a very, very bad direction — to our shores. No matter who is elected, the Jewish power structure is still going to have a stranglehold on the regime in Washington. Under these circumstances, networking with other aware citizens on amateur radio’s Liberty Net is more important and useful than ever.

Listen: Liberty Net 7/9″]

Here are just a few of the topics debated on this week’s net session, along with my comments:

• One of the best additions to an advanced amateur station is a low-noise receive-only antenna such as a Beverage. Those wanting to learn how to build a Beverage should seek out a copy of Vic, W1WCR’s excellent Beverage Antenna Handbook. (8 minutes)

• At a recent Trump speech, a citizen stood up and told the audience that he was sick of the American military and American lives being wasted fighting wars for the Zionist state of Israel. Jaws of the better-informed audience members dropped because of the man’s courage in speaking the truth. The jaws of the ignorant and misinformed dropped because the man dared to criticize God’s “holy” (and bloodthirsty) pets. (12 minutes)
