Liberty Net: January 15, 2011

by WB4AIO on January 22, 2011

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

CRUSHED BY MANY FEET of snow this severe New Jersey winter, N2IRJ’s low-noise receiving antenna nevertheless continues to perform, bringing us this week’s Liberty Net recording with almost perfect reception despite variable — and at times very long — skip, and even a few attempts at malicious interference.

Listen: Liberty Net 1/15

Here’s a small sample of the issues discussed this time on amateur radio’s most historic discussion net:

• The mortgage crisis that crashed the economy is one of the most gigantic frauds in human history. Why is it, then, that almost no one amongst the fraudsters has gone to jail? (40 minutes)

School board member and radio station manager attacked by ADL, receives death threats for MLK commentary

by Kevin Strom

A GUEST EDITORIAL — based largely on my exposé of Martin Luther King — has been airing on Greeley, Colorado’s KELS-FM twice daily in the days leading up to the federal MLK holiday, and the sparks are flying as the Usual Suspects try to get the truth off the air — and punish the man responsible for the broadcast.

Brett Reese (pictured), who is a school board member and director of the local school district, runs Greeley’s KELS 104.7. He says he regularly broadcasts guest editorials from listeners if their facts check out. And, he adds, in this case the facts did check out when he looked into them: “Martin Luther King, Junior” is an assumed name; King had numerous and intimate connections to high-level agents of the Communist Party; King misappropriated funds contributed to his “religious” charity and spent them on prostitutes and drunken orgies; and King was a plagiarist who cheated to obtain his PhD. You can listen to the editorial by clicking the link below.

Liberty Net: November 27, 2010

by WB4AIO on December 4, 2010

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

THE CONTINUING ANNOYANCE of DRM transmissions from the BBC means that the weekly Saturday night Liberty Net is meeting a little higher up the band than usual, this week on 3969 kHz. But participants are getting used to the change, since check-ins were numerous despite ionospheric disturbances that made close-in stations fade at times.

Listen: 11/27 Liberty Net

Here’s an abbreviated list of the issues debated and discussed this time on amateur radio’s most venerable discussion net:

• A Spanish woman has now officially registered the Sun as her personal property. She claims that the international law which prohibits ownership of our home star by any government does not apply to individuals, and she will soon be charging all “Sun users” a fee, of which she will generously keep only 10 per cent. (1 hour 6 minutes)

Liberty Net: November 20, 2010

RADIO CONDITIONS were unsettled this week, but N2IRJ’s superb low-noise receiving setup allowed excellent copy of almost all stations on the latest session of the Liberty Net, and there were a large number of new stations checking in as the word spreads about the most exciting net on amateur radio. Since the BBC’s DRM transmission has been wiping out the area around 3950 kHz (why can’t the broadcasters move to 90 meters and leave 75 meters alone?), the net has been favoring 3966 kHz.

Listen: 11/20 Liberty Net

Here’s a small sample of the issues discussed this time on amateur radio’s longest-running discussion net:

• We hear an amazing firsthand account of W8LDW’s recent experiences with “airport security” and the TSA, who are criminally violating our constitutional rights with their so-called “enhanced security” procedures. These blue-shirted, gold-badged bureaucrats treat Americans as “animals to be contained and caged and poked and prodded and irradiated.” (25 minutes)

Liberty Net: November 13, 2010

by WB4AIO on November 18, 2010

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

THE IONOSPHERE is still acting strangely as we transition into Winter conditions, but the sharing of brilliant insights and suppressed news continued at a high pace on this week’s Liberty Net. The DRM digital audio transmissions from Britain on 3955 — which effectively wipe out 3949 to 3964 kHz for hours — continue, so the net used a frequency a bit outside of its normal range this time: 3966 kHz.

Listen: 11/13 Liberty Net

Here’s a sample of the ideas brought forth this time on amateur radio’s longest-running discussion net:

• As countries (like the US and China) race to devalue their own currencies to gain a temporary trade advantage, bankers rake in profits from the easy money (that they create) and, as always, individuals and families find their wealth evaporating. (29 minutes)

• The insanely punitive estate tax that Washington is about to impose is causing many productive and intelligent people to simply leave the country — and who can blame them? No one wants his life’s work to feed the illegal regime in Washington and all its genocidal programs. (36 minutes)

Liberty Net: October 16, 2010

by WB4AIO on October 23, 2010

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

THE LIBERTY NET is a gathering of thoughtful, philosophical minds and well-informed sources every week, and this time was no exception — and noise was so low that even the weakest signals were perfectly understandable. Warm up your radios every Saturday night and join in the discussion on or near 3950 kHz SSB at 10PM Eastern Time.

Listen: 10/16 Liberty Net

Here are some examples of the real free speech and free thought the Liberty Net is famous for:

• Now that US taxpayers are paying millions to bring Hamas refugees here, maybe it’s time to rethink our immigration and foreign policies. By angering — and then importing — Muslims, we are essentially jamming a stick into a beehive, and then gathering the angry bees and bringing them into our homes. (56 minutes)

Liberty Net: October 9, 2010

by WB4AIO on October 15, 2010

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

LOW STATIC LEVELS and rising sunspot numbers created a 75 meter band that was a real pleasure to listen to during this week’s Liberty Net, and the free flow of uncensored ideas and information was an excellent stimulant for those still capable of independent thought.

Listen: 10/9 Liberty Net

Here are a few topics covered this time on the most exciting net on the amateur radio bands, the Liberty Net, on the air since 1974:

Liberty Net: October 2, 2010

by WB4AIO on October 7, 2010

SHORTWAVE RADIO PROPAGATION went very long during this week’s Liberty Net, despite the higher sunspot numbers, but noise was extremely low and almost all stations, even the low power ones, were heard clearly. Remember, if you can’t listen to the Liberty Net on or near 3950 kHz on Saturday nights at 10PM Eastern time, you can listen any time right here on http://3950.net.  You can even download the file for listening on your personal mp3 player.

Listen: 10/2 Liberty Net

Here are a few topics covered this time on amateur radio’s Saturday night institution, the Liberty Net, on the air since 1974:

Liberty Net: September 25, 2010

by WB4AIO on October 2, 2010

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

THE IONOSPHERE was reflecting signals so beautifully during the Liberty Net this week that many of the stations on 75 meters sounded like locals on 2 meters, which made for an effortless exchange of the hard-to-find information and insights that make the net famous.

Listen: 9/25 Liberty Net

Here’s a tiny selection of the topics discussed this week on amateur radio’s longest-running discussion net, on the air since 1974:

• Why is it so difficult for people of European descent to become American citizens these days — a process that can take years or decades when it is even allowed to happen  — when, according to the founding fathers, they should be the only ones allowed to become citizens at all? (10 minutes)

Liberty Net: September 18, 2010

by WB4AIO on September 25, 2010

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

THE TOTALLY BOGUS nature of the Republican establishment was a major focus of the Liberty Net this last week of Summer, and propagation coöperated to make the dialogue audible across most of the continent.

Expect even better conditions as the Fall season approaches and static dies down.

Listen/dl Sep. 18 Liberty Net

Here’s a small sample of the items discussed this week on amateur radio’s most exciting net:

• The criminals in Congress are seriously discussing seizing private pension plans and forcibly merging them into the bankrupt “Social Security” system. (20 minutes)

• Did you know that a “dirty capitalist” American business owner made two recent broadcasts over Radio Havana in Cuba? And did you know that he was a regular Liberty Net participant? (37 minutes)
