Liberty Net: July 23, 2011

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

THE LIBERTY NET began in 1974 as a forum for the free discussion of important ideas for the future of our civilization — ideas that, even then, were subject to censorship by the self-appointed “gatekeepers” of the corporate media.

For 37 years, it’s provided a voice for amateur radio operators who weren’t afraid to exercise their inherent rights of free speech and free thought.

Here are a few of my notes from the most recent session of this amazing net:

• Since the politicians and bankers have utterly bled their victims (that’s us) dry with their “debt” scam, there is now only one alternative open to all parties: default. But on what terms? The only just terms would be these: The politicians get lost and the bankers get arrested. (11 minutes)

Liberty Net: July 16, 2011

IT’S AMAZING to listen to the Liberty Net — not just for the wealth of uncensored information that you and others can share there, but also for the decades-long friendships that the net has brought into being. It all started in 1974, making it the longest-running serious discussion net on the amateur airwaves.

Here’s a brief summary of some of the topics covered this time on radio’s most exciting net:

• How can Barack Obama — who broke every promise he ever made about the economy; who broke every promise he ever made to end the wars; who broke every promise he ever made to poor people — still garner support from a third of the polled electorate? The answer: pure racial politics, which, like it or not, is the inevitable wave of the future.  (34 minutes)

Liberty Net: July 9, 2011

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

THE LIBERTY NET is a profoundly optimistic  intellectual phenomenon. It represents true free speech, the best part of the spirit of amateur radio, and “social networking” that preceded the invention of that phrase — and social networking can bring down oligarchs, and erase bad laws and bad government, in an historical blink of an eye. Check in this week and share your uncensored thoughts!

Here’s a brief selection of some of the topics debated this time on amateur radio’s historic Liberty Net:

• As America’s bankruptcy looms, why are the criminals in Washington talking about cutting pensions and necessary services by billions, but are not discussing cutting foreign aid by so much as a dime? (13 minutes)

• When so-called conservatives pitched a fit over Obama’s signing of the renewed “USA Patriot Act” with an auto-pen — but made no objection to the Act itself — it was a clear sign that conservatism is dead, dead, dead. (24 minutes)

Liberty Net: July 2, 2011

THERE IS MORE social and economic wisdom in a single session of the Liberty Net than can be found in a year’s worth of commercial television, as was amply proved this week. Our lack of independence on Independence Day was noted and deplored, but many creative ideas for restoring our freedom and self-determination were brought out and debated.

Here’s a brief summary of some of the topics covered this time on amateur radio’s longest-running discussion net:

• Isn’t it interesting that, prior to the recent invasion of Libya and Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s legal troubles, Strauss-Kahn had met with Qaddafi to discuss changes in the world’s monetary system? (34 minutes)

• Isn’t it also interesting that the woman who replaced Strauss-Kahn at the IMF has direct connections to Goldman Sachs and to the Chicago mafia that groomed Barack Obama for high office? (42 minutes)

Liberty Net: January 29, 2011

THE LIBERTY NET continues to become more and more well-known, with numerous new stations hearing about us and checking in every week. The Net Control Station, W1WCR, maintains a list of check-ins and everyone gets his turn — but with the large number of newcomers, that can sometimes take an hour!

Here’s my summary of just a few of the topics discussed this time on amateur radio’s most exciting net:

• Isn’t it ironic that Obama is scolding the Egyptian government for cutting off the Internet, while at the same time the Washington regime is demanding a law that gives the executive branch an Internet “kill switch” that would do exactly the same thing in this country? (1 hour 9 minutes)

• A professor at the US Naval Academy (USNA) says that his school will “do anything” to attract and promote non-White students. He says that there is a two-tiered system in place under which non-Whites are given easier assignments, enjoy lower admission and promotion standards, and receive free “unlimited tutoring” that White students aren’t allowed to get. The USNA’s commander admits as much, saying that “diversity” is the Academy’s “number one priority.” (1 hour 32 minutes)

Liberty Net: January 22, 2011

THERE WAS AN AMAZING debate this week between long-time Liberty Net participants and some neoconservatives who checked into the net at about the three hour point. The neocons support the regime in Washington and the so-called “war on terror,” and oppose any dissenting views on the Middle East or 9/11. When the sparks flew between the opposing parties, the frank words that ensued were very interesting indeed.

Here’s a small selection of the topics discussed this time on amateur radio’s longest-running discussion net:

• Why is the Bank of America now demanding that all its employees and contractors hand over a list of — and control over — all their assets as a condition of employment? (30 minutes)

• In Oakland, California — which is 90% non-White — a second grade teacher was recently suspended for asking students to disrobe and to engage in oral intercourse in the classroom. (35 minutes)

Liberty Net: January 15, 2011

CRUSHED BY MANY FEET of snow this severe New Jersey winter, N2IRJ’s low-noise receiving antenna nevertheless continues to perform, bringing us this week’s Liberty Net recording with almost perfect reception despite variable — and at times very long — skip, and even a few attempts at malicious interference.

Here’s a small sample of the issues discussed this time on amateur radio’s most historic discussion net:

• The mortgage crisis that crashed the economy is one of the most gigantic frauds in human history. Why is it, then, that almost no one amongst the fraudsters has gone to jail? (40 minutes)
