EVERY once in a while it’s good to review the necessary frequency spacing need for voice communications on the amateur bands. It’s a complex subject, but you should follow these basics: Listen carefully to the other nearby conversations, determine the transmitted bandwidth being used (hint: these days, it’s not always 3 kHz) then pick a frequency that will not cause any overlap between your transmitted bandwidth and theirs. (You do know your own transmitted bandwidth, right?) And, if at all possible, don’t cozy up as close as you can — leave a kHz or two extra. Even the telephone company, when they started using multiplex SSB signals (with carefully controlled levels) for their long-haul circuits, used 4 kHz spacing for an audio bandwidth of about 3.5 kHz.

Here are some short extracts from, and commentary on, a few of the discussions that took place on the Liberty Net this session:

• One great flaw in the US Constitution is that it has no way to deal with an enemy within who is overtly organized as a religion, such as the Islamic and Jewish power structures. (36 minutes)

• Is the oil market being manipulated by the oligarchs in an effort to harm Russia? (40 minutes)

• Recently a rug embroidered with “inspiring quotations” (all Politically Correct, of course) was installed in the regime’s “White House.” Many of the quotations were misattributed. (1 hour 43 minutes)

• With more and more countries talking about dropping the dollar as their reserve currency, how long before it happens? (2 hours 17 minutes)

• Our figurehead legislators continue to pile law upon unreadable law, until no one person could possibly read all the laws he is supposed to obey, even if he had ten lifetimes in which to do it. Such laws, by their very nature, can only be enforced selectively. This makes a mockery of our claim to be a nation of laws, not men, since “law enforcers” can pick and choose what to enforce and not enforce — and against whom. (2 hours 34 minutes)

• The list of high-ranking establishment figures known to have visited Jeffrey Epstein’s “Sex Slave Island” is getting longer and longer, and it now looks like Alan Dershowitz was definitely involved. (2 hours 37 minutes)

• Modern cars are so quiet that some manufacturers are introducing artificial engine noises to make their cars sound more powerful. (2 hours 59 minutes)

• The “war hero” mystique has been phony in this country for a long, long time. “War hero” Eisenhower killed literally millions of unarmed, innocent Germans after the war. General Patton tried to stop him, but died a mysterious death himself. (3 hours 23 minutes)

Don’t be shy — check in to amateur radio’s historic Liberty Net every Saturday and Wednesday night — on some clear 75 meter frequency, usually above 3950 kHz SSB (lately 3995 has been used quite often). The net has to be frequency-agile to avoid receiving, or causing, interference. And check out our Internet feeds which can help you copy, and communicate with, weak stations. The “live” links can be found in the left column of this site.

Kudos and thanks go to Vic, W1WCR, for his decades of hard work for free speech and amateur radio!
