Here’s a small selection of the comments and debates put forward on the net this session:

• Why did the FCC allow the lobbyists to change the rules, which now allow the importation of plasma television receivers which radiate huge amounts of RF interference all over the HF spectrum? (30 minutes)

• A recent book, Debtor Nation by Jim Staack, discusses an America in the not-too-distant future in which everyone is required to be in debt, including “life starting loans” for newborns. (35 minutes)

• Now only about 26 per cent. of Americans still support the idea of Obamacare, and fewer than half of these think it’s actually going to work — either as presently implemented or as it might be reformed in the future. A huge number of hospitals across the country are refusing to have anything to do with the program. (37 minutes)

• It’s become increasingly clear that Ukrainian patriots were callously used by the oligarchs to set up a puppet government there — and are now locked out of any meaningful power in their own country. (51 minutes)

• It’s very, very boring to listen to people whose view of the world is based mainly on economics, whether they are of the “left” or the “right.” Both finance-capitalists and Marxists think the meaning of life is centered around who plants the turnips, who harvests the turnips, and how many turnips everyone gets to eat. Far deeper and more important are race, biology, and the future evolution of Man. (59 minutes)

• An increasing number of American citizens are seeking Russian citizenship, citing a greater degree of freedom from government depredation and control there compared to that dished out by the regime in Washington. Sadly, non-wealthy Americans often can’t afford to make such a life-changing move even when they want to. (1 hour 4 minutes)

• Some of Washington’s Congressional criminals have proposed a shameful “Ukraine Support Act” which openly states that its purpose to “promote diversity” and “fight anti-Semitism” in Ukraine, which actually means that Ukraine’s cultural and genetic integrity is slated for destruction. (1 hour 9 minutes)

• Former president Jimmy Carter — who opposes many of the regime’s Middle Eastern wars — refuses to use email much of the time, because he strongly believes he is being spied on by the NSA for political reasons. (1 hour 18 minutes)

The Liberty Net — amateur radio’s longest-running current events discussion net — is on the air every Saturday night at 10PM Eastern Time on or around 3950 kHz SSB (almost always higher in frequency to avoid interference — 3995 kHz is most common these days). You might have to tune around, but we’re not hard to find. Listen for the Survival Net on Sundays, and the Midweek Liberty Net on Wednesdays, too — all are at 10PM Eastern Time.

Remember, thanks to our multiple audio feeds, you’re likely to be nearly interference-proof! (The N2SAG Ustream feed is on every session, so you literally have three ways to hear the net.) So please check in. And, as always, you can download the net recording right here at https://3950.net and listen at your leisure.
