THE LIBERTY NET continued its free speech traditions this week, with ideas and debates sometimes intense — and sometimes worthy of a modern-day School of Athens. Here are just a few examples of what you can hear on this week’s recording:

• Police in some jurisdictions are seizing motorists’ cell telephones during random traffic stops — and inspecting the personal data therein, all without a search warrant. Some freedom-minded citizens are responding by always carrying a throwaway phone that can be given up without giving up privacy. (6 minutes)

• The Last Roundup, the radio program of N2SAG, one of the Liberty Net’s leading participants, is now on 5110 kHz every Friday at 9PM Eastern (0100 UTC). (22 minutes)

• Many are expressing astonishment at the Washington regime’s multiple versions of the death of Osama bin Laden. Why, for example, was the unarmed bin Laden not captured, which would have given his captors considerable leverage with his many thousands of followers? (24 minutes)

• One wag has quipped that the only difference between Osama and Obama is the letters “BS.” (37 minutes)

• The Pakistani military obviously trusted Osama bin Laden enough to allow him to build his residence 1,000 yards from one of their bases. But did they trust him enough to sell or give him nuclear material? (1 hour 14 minutes)

• Why has the lily-White elite of Mexico — which is continually exporting its unwanted surplus Mestizo population to the US — recently purchased over 100 tons of gold? (1 hour 30 minutes)

• All Americans should be loyal to the spirit and letter of the original Constitution of the Founding Fathers. But we should give no loyalty whatsoever to the successor regime in Washington which only pretends to be a continuation of the long-defunct original government of the United States. • Did you know that the Washington regime is now sending assassination drones not only to Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq — but now also to Yemen? How many innocents must die as a result of these horrific murders — how many good people must end up as radicalized enemies of America — before these illegal wars and illegal murders are ended forever? • A new study has revealed that 47 per cent. of nearly all-Black Detroit’s adult population is functionally illiterate. New York’s Mayor Bloomberg thinks the solution to Detroit’s decline is to import millions more Third World immigrants and require them to live in Detroit for five to ten years. (3 hours 2 minutes)
