Liberty Net: August 27, 2011

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

THE ARRIVAL OF HURRICANE Irene didn’t dampen the spirits of Liberty Net participants this week, and, surprisingly, the noise level was very low. I’d say that the conversations and debates were even more intense than the storm system that was swirling all around.

Here are some samples of the topics discussed this time on amateur radio’s most exciting net:

• The FCC just recently withdrew its so-called Fairness Doctrine regulations, even though they were ruled unconstitutional about 25 years ago. Does the withdrawal set the stage for new regulations along the same lines? (20 minutes)

• Why has a new law been passed making it a federal crime for anyone who participated in the murder of Osama bin Laden to speak about it? And how dare they pretend that such an ex post facto law could possibly be constitutional? (25 minutes)

Liberty Net: August 20, 2011

THERE IS A CONVERGENCE of free political thought these days, as the hot knife of crisis cuts through the phony left-right / Republican-Democrat paradigm. As more and more people find themselves bled dry by the financial elite, the warmongers, and the vote-buyers, the old labels just don’t have much meaning anymore. Participate in the awakening by checking into the Liberty Net!

Here’s a very brief summary of some of the topics discussed this time on amateur radio’s longest-running discussion net:

• Even when they try to depreciate their currency, as they did recently, the Swiss franc seems incapable of dropping much in value. This says something about the inherent quality of Swiss society and the Swiss people. (10 minutes)

• The FDIC has $19 billion in reserve to “insure” $4,400 billion in personal bank accounts. That’s like insuring a precious diamond ring with a $20 bill. (49 minutes)

Liberty Net: August 13, 2011

EVEN THOSE WHO LISTEN to the Liberty Net starting from a hostile position eventually come around, because they start to understand that net participants are speaking from the heart, and from personal experience, and are not beholden to the criminal political parties or oligarchs that misrule us. In short, the Liberty Net is real.

Here are some of the opinions and ideas debated this time on amateur radio’s most exciting net:

• Sony Pictures — which is run largely by the same crowd that runs the rest of Hollywood — has recently announced a movie which will show Obama’s “heroic” role in killing Osama. The projected release date? One month before the 2012 election. (22 minutes)

• Israel has perfected one of the slickest rackets around: Spend a few million dollars to fly a third of Congress on a junket to Israel — and get $10 billion of “aid” in return. Why should impoverished American taxpayers be forced to give money to the world’s richest ethnic group? (34 minutes)

Liberty Net: August 6, 2011

THIS ARCHIVE of Liberty Net discussions is not only a resource for us, as we try to make sense of our world despite the purposeful distortions of the mass media, but it is also a record of individual lives and thoughts — and of history in the making. This week there were attempts (which met with almost no success) to jam the Liberty Net, but such immoral and illegal acts do little more than show the anti-free-speech mentality of those responsible.

[wpaudio url=”https://3950.net/recordings/LIBERTY%20NET%20%20%202011%20August%206th,%20Saturday%20%20%204h%2044m%2044s%20%20%203980%20&%203983%20kHz%20%20%20Vertical%20Antenna%20%20%20Source%20%20N2IRJ.mp3″ text=”Listen: Liberty Net 8/6″]

Here’s a small sampling of opinions and ideas from the most recent session of amateur radio’s longest-running and most interesting discussion net:

• Watch out for some fireworks in the financial markets: As the rating of the regime’s debt tumbles, interest rates may be forced upward — and when that happens, debt service payments will multiply gigantically, and instantly. (20 minutes)

• The Black gang attacks now called “flash mobs” are not new, though they are increasing rapidly. Two decades ago, such feral behavior was called “wilding.” From 2002 to 2008 there were 13 documented flash mob attacks, but there have been over 90 since then. Though the attacks are almost exclusively Black on White, the controlled mass media are very reluctant to mention race. (27 minutes)

Liberty Net: July 30, 2011

ONE INTERESTING THING about the Liberty Net is the convergence of “left” and “right” toward truth and consensus that often happens there — false political categorizations fall away between the hammer of debate and the anvil of facts.

[wpaudio url=”https://3950.net/recordings/LIBERTY%20NET%20%20%202011%20July%2030th,%20Saturday%20%20%203h%2040m%2009s%20%20%20Start%20&%20End%203980%20kHz%20%20%20Vertical%20Antenna%20%20%20Source%20%20N2IRJ.mp3″ text=”Listen: Liberty Net 7/30″]

Here are some notes — just a small sampling, really — from the most recent session of the most exciting net on the amateur airwaves:

• A subpoena has now been issued to allow a typesetting and scanning expert to see the actual paper document that was allegedly the basis for the PDF “long form birth certificate” released on the White House Web site. (22 minutes)

• Two and a half billion dollars of US taxpayer money has been given recently to Afghan transportation companies, supposedly to “promote business” in that country, which has been devastated by the US invasion. It has now been revealed that a substantial portion of that money goes to 1) bribes to corrupt police and other officials of the US-installed puppet government there, and 2) directly to the Taliban, to “guarantee safe passage” of the trucks in question. (25 minutes)

Liberty Net: July 23, 2011

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

THE LIBERTY NET began in 1974 as a forum for the free discussion of important ideas for the future of our civilization — ideas that, even then, were subject to censorship by the self-appointed “gatekeepers” of the corporate media.

For 37 years, it’s provided a voice for amateur radio operators who weren’t afraid to exercise their inherent rights of free speech and free thought.

[wpaudio url=”https://3950.net/recordings/LIBERTY%20NET%20%20%202011%20July%2023rd,%20Saturday%204h%2021%20m%2015s%20%20%20Start%20&%20End%203980%20kHz%20%20%20Vertical%20Antenna%20%20%20Source%20%20N2IRJ+.mp3″ text=”Listen: Liberty Net 7/23″]

Here are a few of my notes from the most recent session of this amazing net:

• Since the politicians and bankers have utterly bled their victims (that’s us) dry with their “debt” scam, there is now only one alternative open to all parties: default. But on what terms? The only just terms would be these: The politicians get lost and the bankers get arrested. (11 minutes)

Liberty Net: July 16, 2011

IT’S AMAZING to listen to the Liberty Net — not just for the wealth of uncensored information that you and others can share there, but also for the decades-long friendships that the net has brought into being. It all started in 1974, making it the longest-running serious discussion net on the amateur airwaves.

[wpaudio url=”https://3950.net/recordings/LIBERTY%20NET%20%20%202011%20July%2016th,%20Saturday%20%20%204h%2052m%2000s%20%20%20Start%203980%20%20End%203980%20kHz%20%20%20VERTICAL%20ANTENNA%20%20%20Source%20%20N2IRJ.mp3″ text=”Listen: Liberty Net 7/16″]

Here’s a brief summary of some of the topics covered this time on radio’s most exciting net:

• How can Barack Obama — who broke every promise he ever made about the economy; who broke every promise he ever made to end the wars; who broke every promise he ever made to poor people — still garner support from a third of the polled electorate? The answer: pure racial politics, which, like it or not, is the inevitable wave of the future.  (34 minutes)

Liberty Net: July 9, 2011

THE LIBERTY NET is a profoundly optimistic  intellectual phenomenon. It represents true free speech, the best part of the spirit of amateur radio, and “social networking” that preceded the invention of that phrase — and social networking can bring down oligarchs, and erase bad laws and bad government, in an historical blink of an eye. Check in this week and share your uncensored thoughts!

[wpaudio url=”https://3950.net/recordings/LIBERTY%20NET%20%20%202011%20July%209th,%20Saturday%20%20%204h%2045m%2000s%20%20%20Start%203980%20%20End%203980%20kHz%20%20%20Source%20%20N2IRJ.mp3″ text=”Listen: Liberty Net 7/9″]

Here’s a brief selection of some of the topics debated this time on amateur radio’s historic Liberty Net:

• As America’s bankruptcy looms, why are the criminals in Washington talking about cutting pensions and necessary services by billions, but are not discussing cutting foreign aid by so much as a dime? (13 minutes)

• When so-called conservatives pitched a fit over Obama’s signing of the renewed “USA Patriot Act” with an auto-pen — but made no objection to the Act itself — it was a clear sign that conservatism is dead, dead, dead. (24 minutes)

Liberty Net: July 2, 2011

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

THERE IS MORE social and economic wisdom in a single session of the Liberty Net than can be found in a year’s worth of commercial television, as was amply proved this week. Our lack of independence on Independence Day was noted and deplored, but many creative ideas for restoring our freedom and self-determination were brought out and debated.

[wpaudio url=”https://3950.net/recordings/LIBERTY%20NET%20%20%202011%20July%202nd,%20Saturday%20%20%205h%2011m%2000s%20%20%20Start%203980%20%20End%203980%20kHz%20%20%20Source%20%20N2IRJ+.mp3″ text=”Listen: Liberty Net 7/2″]

Here’s a brief summary of some of the topics covered this time on amateur radio’s longest-running discussion net:

• Isn’t it interesting that, prior to the recent invasion of Libya and Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s legal troubles, Strauss-Kahn had met with Qaddafi to discuss changes in the world’s monetary system? (34 minutes)

• Isn’t it also interesting that the woman who replaced Strauss-Kahn at the IMF has direct connections to Goldman Sachs and to the Chicago mafia that groomed Barack Obama for high office? (42 minutes)

Liberty Net: June 25, 2011

IONOSPHERIC CONDITIONS were good — and jamming was nonexistent — as the most historic net in amateur radio, the Liberty Net, continued to impress with its intelligent ideas and debate from stations around the continent.

[wpaudio url=”https://3950.net/recordings/LIBERTY%20NET%20%20%202011%20June%2025th,%20Saturday%20%20%204h%2031m%2000s%20%20%20Start%203980%20%20End%203980%20kHz%20%20%20Source%20%20N2IRJ.mp3″ text=”Listen: Liberty Net 6/25″]

Here are a just few examples of this week’s interesting discussions:

• It is outrageous for the Obamas to laud and to receive a personally-signed book from Nelson Mandela — a man who was responsible for “necklacing” his political opponents, which involved tying them up, placing a gasoline-soaked tire around each of their necks and then setting them on fire, causing an extremely painful and prolonged death. (11 minutes)

• It is doubly outrageous that Obama would equate Mandela with Gandhi — his polar opposite. Gandhi was a peaceful man, a racial nationalist, and a racial separatist. (15 minutes)
