Liberty Net: March 12, 2014

Liberty-Net---Radiola

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

MOST WEEKS these Liberty Net articles are based on the Saturday evening flagship session of the net, but on some occasions, as on this one, I base them on the Wednesday night Midweek Liberty Net session. If you haven’t checked out (or should I say checked in to?) a Wednesday net session, give it a try this week!

Here’s a selected sample of the concepts introduced on the net this week:

• As summertime band conditions approach us — with their higher absorption and higher static levels on 75 meters — it’s more important than ever for net participants to use high power and high, efficient antennas whenever possible. (5 minutes)

• Think that illegal US government spying on Americans just started recently? Think again. Though it’s gotten worse since the misnamed “Patriot Act,” it’s been happening for many decades. (11 minutes)

• Clearly, Obama is largely an order-taker and not in charge in the sense that the chief executive was intended to be. His reluctance to take some Zionist orders is obvious, though he does almost always comply. (29 minutes)

• If the NRA is really in favor of the Second Amendment, why do they repeatedly argue against new gun laws by suggesting that we “should enforce existing gun laws” instead — since most of those “existing laws” are flagrantly unconstitutional themselves? (48 minutes)

• Karen Hudes apparently has credibility as a whistleblower at the World Bank, but is her laying much of the blame for the bankers’ depredations on the Vatican really credible? (50 minutes)

• In Nassau County, New York, it was recently discovered that hundreds of deceased people showed up in official records as having voted in the last election. Similar skullduggery also turned up in other counties, too. All hail “democracy”! (1 hour 13 minutes)

• An official at South Puget Sound Community College organized a campus “Diversity Happy Hour” to “build support and community” at the school. White people were not allowed to attend. (1 hour 15 minutes)

• State IDs and drivers’ licenses are more sophisticated than ever. What are they storing in that magnetic strip, anyway? There’s probably no law — no legitimate law, anyway — forbidding you from scraping it off. (1 hour 52 minutes)

Remember that you can find — and check in to — the Liberty Net on a clear frequency around 3950-4000 kHz LSB (often 3995 kHz these days) every Saturday night at 10PM Eastern Time, or you can listen live on the Internet  at the “Liberty Net live” links in the left column of this site — or listen whenever you like on your player via the mp3 files posted here at https://3950.net every week. (And don’t forget the Survival Net on Sundays and the Midweek Liberty Net on Wednesdays, all at 10PM Eastern!)

Thanks to W1WCR for running the Liberty Net, and thanks to all of you for checking in and making the net what it is today!
