Liberty Net: June 4, 2011

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

THE LIBERTY NET RECEIVED a double whammy of very long propagation and high lightning static this week, but that didn’t dampen the intensity of the conversation and debate — though it did point up the desirability of full legal power and high, efficient antenna systems.

Here’s just a tiny sample of the ideas debated this week on amateur radio’s historic and longest-running — since 1974 — discussion net:

• Water parks, restaurants, beaches, and entire sections of cities have had to be shut down so far this Spring because of destructive — and even murderous — Black “flash mobs,” allegedly facilitated by social networking sites. One wonders to what extent the Internet aspect of the problem is exaggerated in order to justify surveillance and censorship of all of us, when the problem is really biological in nature. White flash mobs are totally different, for example, involving such things as calm, tender dancing at the Jefferson Memorial and singing songs from the Sound of Music at railway stations. (15 minutes)

THE NOISE was down and signals were up this week on the Liberty Net, and check-ins continue to grow as the word spreads about the most exciting net on the ham bands.

Here is a sample of some of the ideas debated and discussed this time on amateur radio’s longest-running discussion net:

• Why not rebuild flood-ravaged Joplin, MO with veteran labor? If the regime’s troops were withdrawn from the multiple illegal wars in the Middle East, there would be plenty of such labor available. (1 hour 4 minutes)

• One Congressman has gone on record advising Americans to move out of major metropolitan areas because of the possibility of “civil unrest” in the near future. (1 hour 8 minutes)

ROLLING THUNDERSTORM static that never seemed to stop inhibited early check-ins on this week’s Liberty Net, but the noise eventually subsided — and the conversation and exchange of information accelerated — as the evening progressed. When high noise conditions prevail, the extra few dB from an amplifier and a high, efficient antenna really make a difference.

Here are just a few of the topics discussed and debated this time on amateur radio’s most exciting net:

• Obama has brazenly ignored the War Powers Act — the very law he invoked to legitimize his invasion of Libya. And now that the 60-day deadline for getting Congressional approval has passed, that invasion is illegal by any standards. (13 minutes)

• Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s rape and sodomy charges may be the least of his worries: Apparently the Black African woman he allegedly raped lives in an apartment set aside exclusively for tenants who are infected with HIV. (21 minutes)

FROM ARIZONA TO MAINE, from the Midwest plains to Florida, amateur radio’s free speech Liberty Net just keeps getting more and more popular, even with the advance of Summertime conditions on 75 meters.

Here are just a few of the subjects brought up this week:

• Washington, DC’s “Police Week” included a moment of extreme irony when Michelle Obama welcomed a “rapper” to the White House who has openly sung the praises of of numerous killers of police officers. (23 minutes)

THE LIBERTY NET continued its free speech traditions this week, with ideas and debates sometimes intense — and sometimes worthy of a modern-day School of Athens. If you’d like to join in, get an amateur radio license — they’re easier to obtain than ever before — and add your voice to the check-ins.

Here are just a few examples of what you can hear on this week’s recording:

• Police in some jurisdictions are seizing motorists’ cell telephones during random traffic stops — and inspecting the personal data therein, all without a search warrant. Some freedom-minded citizens are responding by always carrying a throwaway phone that can be given up without giving up privacy. (6 minutes)

The Last Roundup, the radio program of N2SAG, one of the Liberty Net’s leading participants, is now on 5110 kHz every Friday at 9PM Eastern (0100 UTC). (22 minutes)

THE LIBERTY NET has many purposes: comradeship, bypassing the billionaires’ media and sharing information directly, personal inspiration, amateur-to-amateur help and advice, and much more. It may take a little courage to say the emperor has no clothes for the first time — but courage is contagious. So get a ham ticket if you don’t already have one, and check in to the next session of amateur radio’s longest-running discussion net.

Here are just a few of the topics discussed and debated this week:

• When Medicare refuses to pay and engages in endless delaying tactics — as more and more Americans are experiencing lately — is it appropriate for a citizen to employ a collection agency? (35 minutes)

• There’s a grassroots movement to get millions of Americans to buy an ounce or more of silver and take physical delivery. This, it is hoped, will make it difficult for J.P. Morgan Chase to cover their illegal naked short selling of the metal — and might even force them to stop the practice, which regulators refuse to investigate. (55 minutes)

N2IRJ’s W1WCR-DESIGNED Beverage antenna was back in action during the latest Liberty Net, and, if the increased check-ins of new stations are any indication, it seems that more and more people are discovering, enjoying, and participating in the longest-running discussion net on the amateur radio airwaves.

[wpaudio url=”https://3950.net/recordings/LIBERTY%20NET%20%20%202011%20April%2023rd,%20Saturday%20%20%204h%2006m%2000s%20%20%20Source%20%20N2IRJ.mp3″ text=”Listen: Liberty Net 4/23″]

Here are just a few of the subjects brought up and debated this week:

• To restore the American economy, massive numbers of useless or oppressive government employees must be let go; and our disastrous wars for Israel in the Mideast must be ended, and our troops withdrawn. But how will we keep these people out of the unemployment lines? It’s simple: Use our troops to expel the Mestizo invaders and then have them keep our southern border secure — millions of jobs will then become available for our own people. (23 minutes)

A HUGE RAIN AND WIND storm enveloped eastern North America on Saturday, sent static into the ionosphere, and knocked down antennas — including N2IRJ’s low-noise Beverage. But back-ups were brought into play within an hour and the longest-running discussion net on amateur radio — the Liberty Net — brought its hallmark intellectual excitement to the airwaves in excellent form.

[wpaudio url=”https://3950.net/recordings/LIBERTY%20NET%20%20%202011%20April%2016th,%20Saturday%20%20%20RECEIVING%20ANTENNA%20MALFUNCTION%20%20%205h%2013m%2059s%20%20%20Source%20%20N2IRJ.mp3″ text=”Listen: Liberty Net 4/16″]

Here’s a small sampling of some of the subjects brought up this time:

• In Chicago’s schools, students are now forbidden to bring lunches from home. Unless they have medical exemptions, students must buy government-provided lunches — brown bags from home will be confiscated. (18 minutes)

• Why is the regime in Washington spending $20 million on a Pakistani version of Sesame Street? Since the US version of the show was a pioneer in brainwashing children to accept multiracialism, the reason for the funding is doubtlessly to push some kind of propaganda. (1 hour 16 minutes)

SUMMERTIME STATIC came crashing in early this year, but W1WCR and N2IRJ — through their extraordinary antenna technology — were able to copy all but the weakest check-ins to the latest Liberty Net. And, as the ionosphere heats up, so does the discussion of important issues that are covered up or distorted in the public media.

[wpaudio url=”https://3950.net/recordings/LIBERTY%20NET%20%20%202011%20April%209th,%20Saturday%20%20%204h%2053%20m%2000s%20%20%20Source%20%20N2IRJ.mp3″ text=”Listen: Liberty Net 4/9″]

Here are just a few of the topics discussed and debated during the latest session of the longest-running discussion net on the amateur radio airwaves:

• When radiation levels rise to unsafe levels, what’s a government to do? Just raise the legal definition of “safe,” that’s what — and, magically, everyone’s out of danger. (18 minutes)

• The Black race huckster, the “Reverend” Al Sharpton, is millions of dollars in arrears for federal taxes. Most White folks, especially patriot-oriented White folks, would be in jail in similar circumstances. So, what did Obama do with regard to the “Reverend”? He spoke at one of his conferences — and gave him a $1.5 million tax break. (45 minutes)

THERE SEEM TO BE more new stations checking into the Liberty Net every week; why not join them? Getting an amateur radio license is simpler than ever before, and inexpensive training courses and classes are widely available.

Here are just a few of the issues discussed and debated this week on amateur radio’s most exciting net:

• Why is the regime in Washington supporting al-Qaeda in Libya but supposedly fighting it in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq? (14 minutes)

• One of the most bizarre twists in the latest illegal war is that the US troops who were training Qaddafi’s forces had to be quickly evacuated so that other US troops could be brought in to attack those same forces. (18 minutes)
