Liberty Net - stability

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

GETTING an amateur radio license is easier than ever. That has its downside, as all of us who are victims of intentional interference well know. But it also has its upside: If you’d like to join the uncensored discussions on the Liberty Net, adding your voice is now within your reach.

Here is a small selection of the issues discussed on the net this time:

• No matter where you live, it’s always good to have a disaster preparedness plan, with several weeks’ worth of of food and water — and some means of staying warm — available. (4 minutes)

• It’s now been declared “legal” in Pennsylvania for the police to search your car without a warrant. (16 minutes)

Liberty Net - reel-to-reel

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

ALL OF OUR HOPES and prayers are directed toward the full recovery of Sue, who is Vic W1WCR’s wife, as she undergoes cancer treatment and stroke rehabilitation — and we all thank Jim, AB3RA, and Marty, N2IRJ, who have helped during Vic’s temporary absence as the Liberty Net’s Net Control Station.

Here is a small selection of the concepts and events brought up on the net this time:

• The reaction to Cliven Bundy’s opinions about Black people is typical shaming and shunning activity directed toward who violates the commandments of the insane quasi-religion of “equality” in this country. (16 minutes)

• Has anyone else noticed what pathetic, effeminate, emasculated “metrosexuals” that a disturbing number of young American men have become? (27 minutes)

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

WE LIVE IN A STRANGE country in which leaders and aspiring leaders fall all over themselves to promise to defend the eternal sanctity of Israel’s borders — but care not a whit for our own. But there are rational people who recognize this insanity for what it is, and speak out about it on amateur radio’s Liberty Net, which has been serving the public interest, convenience, and necessity since 1974.

Here are just a few of the ideas discussed and debated during the net this session:

• The standoff at the Bundy ranch brought some fundamental issues to light — primary among these is the idea that the pretended “laws” enacted by the criminal Washington regime should no longer be regarded as laws at all. (21 minutes)

• With literally hundreds of thousands of pages of “laws” on the books covering almost every known human activity, evil men in power can cherry pick which “laws” they will enforce, and against whom — giving them the power to destroy anyone they choose. (31 minutes)

HEAVY STATIC and poor propagation were challenging to all Liberty Net participants this week, but that didn’t stop us from challenging the apathy and ignorance of the majority as strongly as ever.

Listen: Liberty Net 4/12″]

Here are just a few of the topics brought to light during the net this week:

• As America is purposely being morphed into a Third World nation, our infrastructure is gradually falling apart: maintenance becomes both less frequent and less competent. Two places where this really shows are the old copper landline system and the power grid. (3 minutes)

• If the last two weeks are any indication, this is going to be a high-static (and high thunderstorm count) season on 75 meters — so invest in a kilowatt amplifier and a high, efficient, in-the-clear antenna. (12 minutes)

Liberty-Net---Collins-51S-1

by Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

SINCE THE 75 METER band seems to be getting more and more traffic around 3995 kHz LSB, where the Liberty Net normally congregates, it would be helpful if some net participants could show up an hour or so early and start a QSO when the frequency is clear and open — and then turn it over to the Net Control Station (NCS) at the appointed time.

Listen: Liberty Net 4/5″]

Here are just a few of the topics brought to light during the net this week:

• The Washington regime’s phony “investment” plan, MyRA, is predicted to be an abject failure. And that’s no surprise: The instrument forces the suckers to invest in government bonds with an effective negative rate of return, plus a tax obligation. (34 minutes)

• With new shortwave receivers being sold and developed constantly, is it not odd that so many shortwave broadcasters are being shut down, dismantled, or mothballed, with the excuse being a declining audience? (50 minutes)

SOON WE’LL be adding a list of interesting books that have been discussed on the Liberty Net. The new page will be accessible via the tabular menu at the top of this site under the heading “Books.” Look for it soon!

Here’s a small selection of the comments and debates put forward on the net this session:

• Why did the FCC allow the lobbyists to change the rules, which now allow the importation of plasma television receivers which radiate huge amounts of RF interference all over the HF spectrum? (30 minutes)

• A recent book, Debtor Nation by Jim Staack, discusses an America in the not-too-distant future in which everyone is required to be in debt, including “life starting loans” for newborns. (35 minutes)

AS SUMMERTIME approaches, it’s time to check out your transmitting antenna system: make sure it’s a quarter wave high or higher and a half wave long or longer if horizontal; and a quarter wave long or longer with an excellent ground system if vertical. And use that amplifier! When dealing with the higher absorption and static levels approaching us on 75 meters, and when dealing with a continent-wide net, maximum signal strength is necessary.

Listen: Liberty Net 3/15″]

Here’s a selected sample of the concepts introduced on the net this week:

• As America becomes a Third World nation, complete with poorer and poorer genetic quality and lower intelligence, the SAT examinations are being “dumbed down.” (15 minutes)

• Why do some countries, realizing the value of their most intelligent young people, use their natural resource revenues to pay for their college educations? — while here in the US, we virtually force our young students into crippling “student loan” bank debt for a decade or more? This is especially destructive when we consider that this severely depresses the birth rate of the best among us. (18 minutes)

MOST WEEKS these Liberty Net articles are based on the Saturday evening flagship session of the net, but on some occasions, as on this one, I base them on the Wednesday night Midweek Liberty Net session. If you haven’t checked out (or should I say checked in to?) a Wednesday net session, give it a try this week!

Listen: Liberty Net 3/12″]

Here’s a selected sample of the concepts introduced on the net this week:

• As summertime band conditions approach us — with their higher absorption and higher static levels on 75 meters — it’s more important than ever for net participants to use high power and high, efficient antennas whenever possible. (5 minutes)

• Think that illegal US government spying on Americans just started recently? Think again. Though it’s gotten worse since the misnamed “Patriot Act,” it’s been happening for many decades. (11 minutes)

FEWER AND FEWER Americans get their news from the controlled media — and more and more are watching and reading alternative news sources not under the thumbs of the oligarchs. Check in to the Liberty Net, and you can speak directly with intelligent consumers of — and contributors to — the free media that have bloomed in recent years.

Here’s a very small sample of the concepts discussed on the net this week:

• Think “digital rights management” of mp3 music is annoying and ridiculous? It gets worse. Even coffee machine manufacturer Keurig is now adding features that will prevent you from using any other brands of coffee, filters, or cups in future models of their coffee brewers. (16 minutes)

• When Microsoft ended support for Windows XP recently, thousands of banks who use the operating system were left in the lurch. When hackers develop new exploits for XP, Microsoft won’t being providing any patches or fixes. (19 minutes)

Here’s a very small sample of the concepts discussed on the net this week:

• It turned out to be illegal for the NSA to collect and save the webcam images of millions of Yahoo users. No problem, though: The NSA just hired GCHQ, the British spook agency, to do it for them. Hat tip to Edward Snowden for this news! (9 minutes)

• A new study shows that mixed race children are far more prone to mental health issues than are children whose parents are of the same race. (11 minutes)
