Liberty Net - most exciting net in amateur radio

WE WERE SADDENED to learn of the death of long-time Liberty Net participant Joe Rogers, W8LDW, last week after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born in 1943 in Dallas, Texas. Joe was an electrical engineer with Peerless Technologies where he worked on aviation projects, public and private. I always learned something from his transmissions, and, whether he agreed or disagreed with others, he invariably expressed himself like a real gentleman.

Liberty Net: December 29, 2012

Liberty Net - never stop learning

A NEW NET was born this week as Liberty Net participant Jim, AB3RA, moderated the very first session of the Survival Net, which is now scheduled for each Sunday night at 9PM Eastern Time on the same frequency that the Liberty Net has been using most often lately: 3983 kHz.

The Survival Net focuses on how you and your family can best prepare for natural disasters and societal breakdown, having fun and maximizing your liberty in the process. If the first meeting is any indication, this is going to be a lively and very educational net indeed. I’d like someone to volunteer to man the discussion room, and record and stream the audio for the Survival Net, as I am not always going to be available at that time. Any Survival Net recordings I am able to make will be posted with the Liberty Net files in the usual locations on this site.

Al, N2SAG, is now running a most welcome phone patch during the Liberty Net — some participants have dubbed it the “Cabbage Patch,” just as they named Marty, N2IRJ’s patch the “Briar Patch.”

Here’s a tiny selection from the concepts put forth on the Liberty Net this time:

• Even the banker-controlled (and illegal) regime that misrules Greece has admitted that a partial default on Greece’s bank debt is necessary. What the Golden Dawn and other patriots should push for is a total repudiation of all the bankers’ phony debt. Fractional reserve bank debt is a scam and neither the Greeks, nor us, nor anyone, owes the bankers a single centime. (11 minutes)

• When easily-fooled people rant about how wonderful it would be to go back to confiscatory tax rates for “the rich,” they forget that those Roosevelt-imposed (and illegal) taxes were supported — and easily evaded — by the super-wealthy with their foundations and tax-free investments. The real effect of such high taxes is to prevent anyone from ever rising to challenge the wealth and power of the ultra-rich oligarchs. (25 minutes)

Here are just a few of the ideas offered for debate on the net this week:

• If teachers were armed in every school — which would be far cheaper than hiring more policemen, or buying the useless spy cameras which do little more than show us the carnage after the fact — school shooting tragedies would become extremely rare. Of course, such a plan would only work in the civilized communities which are gradually disappearing as America’s founding race becomes a minority. (25 minutes)

• Why are elitists like Dianne Feinstein — who are wealthy enough to hire their own private armed guards — the very first to call for working people to be disarmed? (1 hour 2 minutes)

Liberty Net: December 15, 2012

MARTY, N2IRJ, remains off the air in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, and an injury and other setbacks have impaired his ability to restore his damaged station. Recovery is progressing, albeit slowly, and his transmitter and computer are now functioning, though pain prevents Marty from regularly checking his email. Antenna repairs are still to be made. Marty sends his thanks to those who have written him. Your kindness will always be remembered.

Here are just a few of the ideas presented this week for discussion on the Liberty Net:

• When shootings — just as fatal as the one in Connecticut — take place in Chicago, as they do hundreds of times every year, it hardly makes the news. And there is plenty of draconian “gun control” in Chicago. (7 minutes)

• What is the matter with the mental functioning of the American people who, when confronted with an emotion-laden tragedy like the recent school killings, think that the solution is yet another law? Hint: Murder is already illegal. (8 minutes)

Liberty Net: December 8, 2012

IT REQUIRED two frequencies — 3978 kHz to start (because Radio France’s DRM is now wiping out 10 kHz of spectrum centered on 3965) and 3983 later in the night to avoid Vatican Radio’s Latin transmission on 3975 — but the latest Liberty Net session was a forum as engaging and mind-opening as the best college class you’ve ever attended.

Here are just a few of the concepts put forth and debated this week:

• Making every business a funding source for the huge turkey that our health care system has become will kill innumerable small businesses — they simply won’t be able to hire people as they have in the past. Highly profitable mega-corporations will benefit from eliminating the competition, though. (10 minutes)

• Why should we all lose our Second Amendment rights just because certain people and groups with low IQs and poor impulse control can’t be trusted with guns? Better to keep the rights — and cut ourselves loose from the irresponsible individuals and groups. (17 minutes)

Here are just a few of the topics covered during this week’s net:

• There’s no rational reason why amateur radio operators should have to tolerate broadcast interference between 3.9 and 4 MHz and between 7.2 and 7.3 MHz. Huge swathes of HF spectrum — even some already allocated to broadcasters — is virtually empty and unused, and the broadcasters should go there. (7 minutes)

• When you have an illegal, evil government — one which does practically nothing except harmful, immoral things — gridlock is a good thing. (11 minutes)

Liberty Net: November 24, 2012

THE 75 METER BAND has been going very long, which enhances reception of the more distant Liberty Net participants, but also sometimes makes the stations from nearby states weaker. Last week, a DRM broadcast from Europe caused some interference, too. (Now that HF usage is down, why can’t amateurs have the whole 75 meter band worldwide? Why can’t the 75 meter broadcasters in Europe move to 90 meters, as many US broadcasters have done?) But frequency agility saved the day, and the net at one point even used its old traditional frequency of 3950 kHz.

Here are just a few of the subjects broached during this week’s session of the Liberty Net:

• Will America be able to stay out of the emerging inter-Arab and Arab-Jewish wars that are developing in the Middle East? Since the Jewish lobby virtually controls both major “American” parties, don’t count on it. (14 minutes)

• Evidence is accumulating that illegal aliens in many jurisdictions were able to vote in the recent election merely by producing a recent utility bill. This is undermining belief in the Washington regime’s legitimacy — and that’s a good thing. (30 minutes)

The sharing of real experiences and real knowledge — knowledge that some people don’t want you to know — is exciting, fulfilling, and fun.

• Was the recent impasse between “greedy unions” and “greedy Hostess” engineered specifically to facilitate moving operations to Mexico? If so, get prepared for Wonder Bread and Twinkies that taste like tamales and raw sewage. (14 minutes)

• What is needed is a European civilization of sovereign nations, vowed to racial solidarity and self-determination — not a phony “European Union” that includes non-Whites and is run by bankers. (21 minutes)

Liberty Net: November 10, 2012

THIS WEEK, Liberty Net participants and friends were delighted with the return of Long Island’s N2SAG after almost two weeks of a Third-World-like scenario without fuel, heat, power, or communications. N2IRJ in New Jersey has power, but his station has still not recovered from the one-two punch of the successive storms. The ionosphere went very long this week, too, yet participation was as high as ever and the discussions continued at a very high level on the Net well into the wee hours of the morning.

Here are some topics debated in this week’s session:

• Pat Buchanan was correct when he called the 2012 election the “end of White America” — from this point forward, illegal Somalians and other aliens will vote, and so will the multiple dozens of millions of non-Whites imported “legally” since the fraudulent abrogation of our immigration laws in 1965. Whites will no longer have even the faintest possibility of regaining their country through the ballot box. Only revolution and secession make sense now. (55 minutes)

• In the case of the “affair” of General Petraeus, do we see the hand of Israeli intelligence at work? (1 hour 27 minutes)

Liberty Net: November 3, 2012

THIS WEEK there were two Liberty Net sessions instead of one: A special election-night watch was on the air Tuesday.

We’re still waiting to hear from stalwart net participant Al, N2SAG, as communication (and presumably power) at his Long Island QTH still has not been restored. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Al. UPDATE: Al was on the air 11/10 and is well, despite enduring many days of hardship. Welcome back, Al!

And, right after power was finally restored at N2IRJ after Hurricane Sandy struck, a huge Nor’easter slammed into the area and took down the power grid again, taking Marty and the phone patch off the air once more. Marty’s Beverage antenna was also severely damaged by the storms, and his transmitting antenna feedline was brought down by heavy snow.

Here’s a small selection of what was discussed on the net this week:

• The regime in Washington has absolutely insane policies regarding Middle Easterners: One the one hand, it’s virtually forbidden to criticize the Muslim invasion of the United States (they even have a scare word for it; “Islamophobia”). But on the other hand we’re murdering — literally burning alive — many thousands of innocent Muslims who stayed in their home countries and minded their own business. And at the same time, yet another Middle Eastern group — the Jews — controls a major part of what used to be our financial, media, and political establishments. (18 minutes)

• Want more proof that both political parties are controlled by the same bosses? Just look at the fact that the vast majority of those who vote for either party want an end to mass immigration, yet it’s open borders we get — open wider every year — no matter whether Democrats or Republicans are nominally in power. (30 minutes)
