Liberty-Net---antique-light-bulb-new-ideasby Kevin Strom, WB4AIO

WHO IS MORE likely to tell you the truth on any given issue — a news reader being paid by the big media corporations? — a self-interested politician? — or a neighbor who has personally researched the topic with no preconceptions except his family’s and kin’s best interests? Think about it and then learn — and teach others — by participating in the Liberty Net.

Here’s my brief synopsis and analysis of just a few of the events and ideas talked about on this week’s net:

• Local authorities recently discovered a contraband and invasion tunnel — complete with rail system — running between Tijuana and San Diego. It is as long as eight football fields. These “supertunnels” are quite common, and keep getting rebuilt after they are shut down. But, for some mysterious reason, they get very little press. (24 minutes)

• When the odious Hillary Clinton was interrogated recently, she let slip that the Washington regime’s mission in Libya was to overthrow Qadaffi, not to “protect civilians” as they had falsely claimed. (25 minutes)

Liberty Net: October 29, 2011

THIS WEEK’S AUTUMN SNOWSTORM killed electrical power and damaged trees in Hudson, New Hampshire, temporarily putting W1WCR, the Liberty Net’s Net Control Station, off the air. But Marty, N2IRJ, stepped into the breach and kept the conversation flowing. This week also marked the reappearance of long-time net participants N2SAG, WB8RAV, and N8WGM via N2IRJ’s new phone patch system.

Here are some of the ideas discussed and debated this week on amateur radio’s longest-running discussion (as opposed to traffic, or mere rag-chewing) net, on the air since 1974:

• How does the addition of 50,000 “contractors” — a better word would be mercenaries, if not hit men — constitute a “withdrawal” from Iraq? (43 minutes)

• It is reported that J.P. Morgan alone holds $90 trillion in derivatives. Not only is this highly speculative form of “wealth created out of nothing” a time bomb waiting to go off, but it makes one wonder just why the banks didn’t bail out themselves — instead of ripping off the taxpayers. (45 minutes)

A LOT OF WORK is going on behind the scenes to let some of the Liberty Net participants who are temporarily off the air take part via phone patch on N2IRJ. The same patch would also allow non-amateur guests to take part in the discussions. Look for results this week or next!

Here are some of the ideas brought to light this time on amateur radio’s most exciting net:

• The price tag for allowing the alleged “Nobel Peace Prize” president to murder Qaddafi was at least $1.3 billion. (14 minutes)

• Now that they hope the American fools have forgotten the 2011 deadline for withdrawal from Iraq, the regime is declaring that our troops “need to stay” — indefinitely. (16 minutes)

Liberty Net: July 23, 2011

THE LIBERTY NET began in 1974 as a forum for the free discussion of important ideas for the future of our civilization — ideas that, even then, were subject to censorship by the self-appointed “gatekeepers” of the corporate media.

For 37 years, it’s provided a voice for amateur radio operators who weren’t afraid to exercise their inherent rights of free speech and free thought.

Here are a few of my notes from the most recent session of this amazing net:

• Since the politicians and bankers have utterly bled their victims (that’s us) dry with their “debt” scam, there is now only one alternative open to all parties: default. But on what terms? The only just terms would be these: The politicians get lost and the bankers get arrested. (11 minutes)

IT’S AMAZING to listen to the Liberty Net — not just for the wealth of uncensored information that you and others can share there, but also for the decades-long friendships that the net has brought into being. It all started in 1974, making it the longest-running serious discussion net on the amateur airwaves.

Here’s a brief summary of some of the topics covered this time on radio’s most exciting net:

• How can Barack Obama — who broke every promise he ever made about the economy; who broke every promise he ever made to end the wars; who broke every promise he ever made to poor people — still garner support from a third of the polled electorate? The answer: pure racial politics, which, like it or not, is the inevitable wave of the future.  (34 minutes)

THE LIBERTY NET is a profoundly optimistic  intellectual phenomenon. It represents true free speech, the best part of the spirit of amateur radio, and “social networking” that preceded the invention of that phrase — and social networking can bring down oligarchs, and erase bad laws and bad government, in an historical blink of an eye. Check in this week and share your uncensored thoughts!

Here’s a brief selection of some of the topics debated this time on amateur radio’s historic Liberty Net:

• As America’s bankruptcy looms, why are the criminals in Washington talking about cutting pensions and necessary services by billions, but are not discussing cutting foreign aid by so much as a dime? (13 minutes)

• When so-called conservatives pitched a fit over Obama’s signing of the renewed “USA Patriot Act” with an auto-pen — but made no objection to the Act itself — it was a clear sign that conservatism is dead, dead, dead. (24 minutes)

Liberty Net: July 2, 2011

THERE IS MORE social and economic wisdom in a single session of the Liberty Net than can be found in a year’s worth of commercial television, as was amply proved this week. Our lack of independence on Independence Day was noted and deplored, but many creative ideas for restoring our freedom and self-determination were brought out and debated.

[wpaudio url=”https://3950.net/recordings/LIBERTY%20NET%20%20%202011%20July%202nd,%20Saturday%20%20%205h%2011m%2000s%20%20%20Start%203980%20%20End%203980%20kHz%20%20%20Source%20%20N2IRJ+.mp3″ text=”Listen: Liberty Net 7/2″]

Here’s a brief summary of some of the topics covered this time on amateur radio’s longest-running discussion net:

• Isn’t it interesting that, prior to the recent invasion of Libya and Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s legal troubles, Strauss-Kahn had met with Qaddafi to discuss changes in the world’s monetary system? (34 minutes)

• Isn’t it also interesting that the woman who replaced Strauss-Kahn at the IMF has direct connections to Goldman Sachs and to the Chicago mafia that groomed Barack Obama for high office? (42 minutes)

THERE SEEM TO BE more new stations checking into the Liberty Net every week; why not join them? Getting an amateur radio license is simpler than ever before, and inexpensive training courses and classes are widely available.

Here are just a few of the issues discussed and debated this week on amateur radio’s most exciting net:

• Why is the regime in Washington supporting al-Qaeda in Libya but supposedly fighting it in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq? (14 minutes)

• One of the most bizarre twists in the latest illegal war is that the US troops who were training Qaddafi’s forces had to be quickly evacuated so that other US troops could be brought in to attack those same forces. (18 minutes)

LIBERTY NET check-ins continue to grow in  number, and N2IRJ’s repairs to his receiving system allowed him to catch them with good quality despite the increase in atmospheric static that comes with the advent of Spring. The fourth simultaneous US war in the Middle East, started by a supposedly anti-war president, was a major subject of debate. Add in the comments on diverse subjects ranging from the humorous to the deeply philosophical and you end up with a most enjoyable and educational experience.

Here’s a small sample of some of the ideas that were discussed this time on the longest-running discussion net in amateur radio:

• A Bush-appointed judge in Florida may be setting a precedent by allowing an issue in a $2 million lawsuit there to be settled via Sharia Law. Meanwhile, the Florida legislature is considering a law to prevent any judge from doing that. (20 minutes)

• An recent initiative in California would require all public schools there to teach students to admire, even revere, homosexuals, transvestites, and their pathological behaviors. (23 minutes)

Liberty Net: March 19, 2011

THE CHAT ROOM that N2SAG runs during the Liberty Net got a visit from some probably paid (and not very competent) disruptors who tried (for less than an hour, so, if their employers are reading this, don’t let them bill you for more!) to conflate support for “our troops” into support for the oligarchs’ latest illegal war. Needless to say, it didn’t work. But you can expect any patriotic effort that exposes the crimes of the regime in Washington to draw such attention from the pension- and salary-drawing agents of America’s enemies.

Listen: Liberty Net 3/19″]

Here are a few highlights from the latest Liberty Net, the longest-running discussion net on the amateur airwaves:

• Why is such a large part of the wealth of America concentrated in the 400 richest families, many of whom are of Middle Eastern origin and consider themselves a special, separate people? And why has this same group decided to spend so much on bombing their erstwhile ally Qaddafi, while impoverished American grandmothers are starving? (15 minutes)

• If the disaster in Japan had happened in urban America, there would have been mass orgies of looting, rape, and murder such as we saw in New Orleans a few years ago. But in Japan, none of that occurred. Could it be that Japan has been wise to absolutely prevent all immigration of violent Third World equatorial populations? (25 minutes)
